While gluten-free living is often regarded as a life of limitations and dietary restrictions, our user research also uncovered the unique positive impact of a gluten-free diet. Our research participants revealed improved health, new skill-sets (like cooking), and a greater sense of self-awareness and community. We decided to emphasize the positive aspects of a gluten-free lifestyle in our final concept— The Sweet Life—a personalized online service for gluten-free users. The Sweet Life enables co-creation of dietary choices and validates decision-making by allowing users to plan meals specific to their needs and tastes.
